Christmas at Queanbeyan Uniting
Here are just some of the wonder-filled ways we will be celebrating Christmas this year. You can download this brochure to share with family and friends. We look forward to seeing you.
Last Sunday before Christmas Day
Traditional Christmas Carols and Readings – 9:30am
Our last Sunday Morning Service before Christmas is dedicated to singing carols together and hearing the Bible Readings of the Nativity.
Nativity Trail – 5-8pm (NOT HAPPENING in 2017 – look forward to its return next year)
Come and meet the characters from the Christmas story on this live Nativity Trail. You will be guided around the churches of Queanbeyan, meeting Wise Men, Shepherds and even the Holy Family! See the Nativity Trail brochure or Contact us for details.
Christmas Eve – 24th December
BBQ and Carols – 7.00pm Sausage Sizzle & 8.00pm Carols ‘under fairy lights’
A celebration for the whole family, bring a gold coin donation for a Sausage Sizzle from 7pm. Then we’ll celebrate the Nativity story – retelling it in a particularly Queanbeyan way – all under beautiful fairy lights – come dressed up as your favourite nativity character, or thing (for the creative ones among us).
Watch night Service – 11:30pm
‘Prayers and reflections’ – A time for quiet contemplation and reflection to bring in Christmas day.
Christmas Day – 25th December – 9.00am
A wonderful, joy-filled celebration of ‘God with us’.
